3 Calibres

Could do it in two actually as I could reload for .22 hornet with casr lead and subsonic
.22lr small stuff up to 130
.22 hornet fox , crow ( would do roe and smaller deer if the law want as is )
. 6.5 mm ( 260 rem ) 95/100 grain varmint bullets for foxes on the fell , 100 ttsx for all UK deer and heavier version for boar but I have no access to boar

Add a 12 bore pump with mulichoke and a 410 and a 12 ft lb airgun and thisr ain't nothing in the UK you cannot shoot perfectly

6 guns , dont tell the nice man from the government though lol

22lr : Anschutz 1827 Bolt Biathlon
222 : Sako AI Hunter
30-06 : Brno ZG-47

22-250 is my thoughts for fox and roe in the future.
not certain about ammo availability with 270 vs 308 but as I reload it’s not a big issue for me. I think I’d take the 270 over the 308 as it can do all I need it to do with shooting a little flatter than the 308 (I think lol).
My license renewal is next year at the same time as a milestone birthday so I’ll defo be putting in for a variation then. Not certain on calibre yet but steering to a 22.250 or I could get the 270 and rebarrel my 243 to 22.250 when the time comes, decisions, decisions , decisions!!!
270 should be easy for ammo favoured by a lot of contractors

.25 FAC air
.223 fast twist
6.5 x 55
The advantage of FAC air is it can run at 70 ft lbs if you want but run mine around 50 with pellets so still ok for tree rats ant even go down to 16 for rats in buildings plus very cheap to run and deadly accurate

Both!

Sure I could use one for everything
Where is the fun in that?

Then you become one of the people that says ".XXXrem/win) is the best cartridge EVER" because that is all they have ever used....

Walk quietly
Smell the roses
Shoot all the guns...
I agree no fun at all. I certainly didn’t buy a Sauer to stick with one barrel. I have had the opportunity to own or use various cartridges over the years. I would try loads more but neither my bank balance nor my FEO are forthcoming. There’s definitely more to add but I am never going to catch up with the likes of Muir
