I'm selling this on behalf of a customer and SD forum member who i am building something for, it came off of a Donor rifle and is way too good for the scrap bin. a cheap way into the big magnums or to have as a backup/spare for any R700 magnum action.
Remington Sendero SF (stainless fluted) 300 Rum barrel, 26" long, in good used condition. no throat erosion, 4" of mild wear (where the frog tape is, as expected), 18.5" of very good/perfect Remington factory barrel quality bore. no rust, no pitting, good crown. Screwcut 5/8 x 18 by someone else (not me). Barrel is proofed but does not carry proof mark at muzzle, only at Breech end. came of an unmodified magnum action with a 0.189" recoil lug.
130 (approx) cases in good condition, mixture of RP and Norma.
set of Redding dies in good condition (FL and seating), no box.
Private sale, no VAT. £300 posted to your RFD or £275 collected Bristol/South Glous.
I'm confident that it will serve as an Extra long range hunting rifle very well, with a very good life left in it.
