Sold: 308 Target Rifle

A "Target Rifle" or TR, is usually a single-shot job like a Swing, Paramount, or RPA, in 7.62/308 calibre, fired using a jacket and sling with the rifle wholly supported by the shooter.
An altogether different proposition to something with a magazine and scope, fired off a bipod and butt bag.

Absolutely, and F/TR is something different again!

Why not single shot? Ive got a couple of long range target rifles, one has a mag but I still single feed it, if your not using it for PRS style matches then it won't matter and you'll have more of a range to choose from.

Thanks for your help all, managed to pick up a nice 2nd hand rifle.

As I know some will ask, it was a 26" ceracoated Walther barrel, Nimrod action in an AI AX folding chassis.
I did end up compromising, and ended up with a 1:12 twist, but was a good find.

You now need some 155grain Scenars, Lapua 308 Palma cases (small rifle primers, I use S&B M), and a kilo of RS52 powder......
