30mm rings on a budget

I have Warnes from Sportsman - I have found them perfect and not going to break the bank.

i have the steel tps rings on the 22/250 and the alloy ones you sold me to go on my 17 rem are dead light. i will only ever buy these rings from now on.
yes abit more then leupold and warne etc. but you get what you pay for.

sports match on my air rifle and rimmys. and they are fine well built mounts. dont think i would use them on a cf though. but thats just my opinion

Another vote against Warne mounts here, and as for their Nikko Stirling copies let's not go there as they are absolute rubbish and not even suitable for an air rifle. I will differ with Brithunter regarding Sportsmatch as I have had a couple of pairs of them and think that are pretty good value for money and a set still adorn my rimmy but as Claret Dabler says you should never scrimp on your mounts especially if you are connecting a decent scope and rifle together.

Well folks as Mat has already stated I have bought his old steel mounts so he can get some lightweight alloy ones.
