Wanted: 410 Reloading Tool

I have a mec jr that I use for 410 loading when I'm making up a 100 cartridges or so, but want to buy a self contained kit / tool like the old LEE LOADER for when I'm just going to knock up a dozen or so cartridges without having to set up te mec.
I know they're not in production anymore and havent found anyone that makes a similar bit of kit, so anything that anyone has or any information that anyone is able to offer would be very welcome. Cheers,

X Ring Usa makes a copy of the old Lee Loader in 410.Its called the ‘survival reloaded’.
I don’t know if they post to the Uk but might be worth an email.
I had one but it was included with my Remington 1100 when I sold it. It was noticeably better made than the Lee and (from memory) wasn’t much more expensive .

I bought one of the X Ring kits many years ago...probably ten years ago or there abouts.
It was a MK1, when I think the fella had only just started producing them.
When it arrived, I was expecting it to be made of steel, but it was aluminum, so that was the first disapointment.
At that point, I had been reloading pistol and rifle ammuntion for about 30-years and using a Mec for shotgun ammo for about 20-years, so not unfamilar with reloading processes and expectations.
I can't for the life of me remember what it was that p1ssed me off about it, but I just couldn't produce decent loadings with it...might have been the closure / crimp?
Anyway, it ended up being burried down the cellar somewhere.

It comes with a six point crimp tool now which might improve the patterns a bit - I know I struggled to get anything like acceptable results and it was a bit of a faff. I struggled to get them to work reliably in my 1100 semi auto which fed everything else so it was probably operator error on my part.

I didn't get as far as trying them in my Remmy 1100. They were a pig to load into my Hushpower single shot and kept getting caught up in my Mossy 500.
I have the star crimp tool, but ended up just cutting the crimps off the used hulls, roll crimping and sealing with UV glue. It worked, but as you say, it was a real faff, so I just threw it across the room in the end!

That brings back some not so fond memories . My efforts with slugs were even more depressing than shot.
