Assembly instructions:

*Requires 1x 2m length of 14x12mm Carbon fibre tube. (1.4m lengths available on eBay from katana carbon - for shorter heights).

Tube to be cut to length to suit your sticks and push fits into rubber socket and foot.

Clamp & clip slide over quad stick tube and require a PZ1 Pozidriv screwdriver to tighten (tighten gently).

Takbok, just thought I’d say thanks for the kit and the advice.

I’ve never got on with quad sticks but thought I’d have one more try, with your 5th leg kit.

Bought a std set of Mjoelner sticks, added the 5th leg kit and replaced all poles with carbon fibre from Takbok’s contact and fixings with red anodised bolts.

It’s rock solid, I’m soooo pleased with it and grateful to Takbok for the advice.
All the bits he sent fitted so snugly which made it easy to rebuild them and I know they are unique now.

Very pleased - thanks

Well I screwed mine together last week and went out for a butchers in the rain last Saturday and I was very impressed with the new 5th leg.
I didn't actually shoot anything as we've more or less met our roe buck cull numbers for 2026, but I tracked a number of roe bucks that were between 100 - 200m and the sticks & rifle were rock steady. I stood watching a buck for 10 to 15 minutes, I just used it as a practice session & as a non-confident stick user, previously preferring wherever possible to get down on my front & use a bipod or take a sitting shot, I can now see myself using the sticks a lot more frequently.
I had been struggling with my non adjustable Mjoelnir carbon sticks for a while as I'm quite short circ 5ft 5" & the sticks just felt a tad on the long side, so I nervously drilled out the 4 blind rivets attaching the sticks to the their yokes, then I took a junior hacksaw and cut approximately 3 1/2" off the top of each pole, then carefully drilled new holes for the fresh rivets. Fortunately it all worked a treat. Well, except for I could probably do with slightly larger diameter rivets, but that's for another day.
Thank you so much Rory.👍😁
