Yes and the extraordinary thing is that its not far off twice the size of the UK. With only a few people there.

My oldest brother that went out to Australia on one of the "Assisted Passages" back in the early 60's had a "dream" of going gold prospecting in the Kimberleys a short while before he passed away a few years ago. Unfortunately he passed away before he had a chance to fulfil his dream!

One of the worlds biggest diamond mines was established there also,that would have been worth discovering

If I get to Oz again, I have promised myself a visit to the Bungle Bungles. People I know who have been there say they are better than Uluru.

Into Perth, direct flight now, out of Darwin sounds fun……….Its only a few hours, do it in a couple of days!
