East Mercia BDS in partnership with Boughton House and the Royal Forestry Society have arranged a ‘Walk In Boughton House Woods’ for Saturday the 14th May 2022.

This is intended to be both educational and enjoyable with a tour leader and speaker from the RFS explaining the rationale and science behind woodland management and the impact of deer upon such plans.
For BDS members and other interested parties it would be an enlightening afternoon in a beautiful location. Perhaps deer managers and recreational stalkers and their families would enjoy both the educational aspect and the chance to see deer in their natural habitat.

The walk will start at 1400hrs at Grafton Park Wood,

There are limited places available and it’s advertised elsewhere too, so booking early is advisable.
There is a charge of £10 per adult attendee (children under 14 free)
This event is primarily for BDS and affiliated organisations (BASC, NGO etc) so a membership number may be requested.

To reserve a place please contact eastmercia@bds.org.uk

I thought the only deer left there were in the park, after the experts had been called in.😂
