Its a grouse moor area so most estates treat deer as vermin but you could try Neil Brown headkeeper at Allargue estate. His house is just above the Allargue Arms pub. He has just won a Purdey conservation gold award for restoring forestry to black grouse habitat. Very knowledgable guy.
