Advise on how to start

Hello there,
I am looking for any advice on how to start stalking.
I am based in FIFE Scotland, and am happy to travel for the day. I currently have a target rifle, but I am about to apply for a variation to add a lighter rifle more suited to stalking.
Being new to it, I have no idea where to point myself to start asking the right questions to the correct people.

Hi. Guided stalking is best for you 1st trip out.
Google details of a gunship near you.
Call them, and ask if they have details of anyone that offers guided stalking.
Stalking Roe deer might cost £150 ish.
It is a simple low risk, low cost way of testing the water.
And you'll learn alot.

If you're keen to learn, the right stalker/guide can teach you in a few outings what it might take years to learn on your own. This will let you decide if your heart is in it without much investment. Believe me, a few paid stalks and an estate rifle is the cheap edge of a very deep rabbit hole.
Also, it doesn't take a rifle to learn about and know deer. Find some ground with public access, go through the motions, and see what you can learn. Sometimes it is fun just to see how close you can get without being busted and that teaches you alot more than a rifle will.
