Thats sort of defeating the object really , the whole idea of NV is stealth .
Why would you want to have to use so much IR as to make yourself more visible to your quarry?
One the strong points with the 4K is the lack of IR needed to identify your quarry .


But as long as your happy thats all that matters.

It was very usable at less IR, but at ~250M to be able to identify a roe doe positively VS a button buck the extra IR gave that clarity.

To me, it’s not something that has to be used every time, but useful to have the clarity should you need it?

You have completely missed my point. Yes we all know that. My point is the brighter the IR the more you will potently spook you quarry as you will be more visible.

If you can’t see it you can’t shoot it! They are mostly only spooked if you’ve missed them beforedead ones don’t run
