Alpex pro with hik ir ?

Hi there

Just wondered if anyone runs an Alpex pro and the hik ir together. If so is it good or is there something miles better I should be looking at ?

Depends… if you’re looking to stay light or just want max range, whether you want full covert or not. I returned my Hik ir and am going with the Dark Sun Blade covert as that meets my hunting needs and is perhaps the lightest laser ir on the market.

Ok……. So up to sort of 200 yards how was the hik for general use? Clear enough at 200 to see a fox well enough to shoot?

I haven’t received it yet but, by all accounts for the 940nm blade I think recognition begins at 400yds and closer. I don’t usually take a shot much further than 150yds as I’m an FAC air rifle jockey so suits my needs. The Hik Alpex Pro is a brilliant scope though especially for day and weigh light use.

The blade will do everything you need out to 400...but as you said no real need to be shooting that far at night
