My first gun was a shotgun, but my first rifle was a sigleshot 22lr. Then a 44 magnum Marlin, a more high grade 22lr, a Remington 700 in 308, a Winchester 94 in 30-30, A Sako Vixen in 222 (changed barrel on that one to 223) a Heym drilling 7x57R / 20 and my last one, a Mauser in 8x57 built on a Mauser 33/40 action. I have possibly bought my last rifle. But who knows? High on my wishlist is a Lee Enfield model 4. But they are rare here in Norway and if in good condition, priced high.
Started off with a .410 Webley and Scott Bolt Action Single shot, then moved to a 20 Bore Semi Auto followed by a 20 bore O/U which I still have to this day.

Then came the foray into rifles, being very fortunate to have a Semi-Custom for my first in .308 Win. Not too long after a 6.5x47L appeared, which since then has taken many forms, covering from matches to stalking. Later I bought a Tikka .300WSM off here, which I shot a good number of deer with, then finished the barrel off shooting a PRS match with it (wasn't a good choice but boy was it fun), it then went in for a rebarrel to be my current hill stalking setup. At this point I acquired a CZ 602 .458 Win Mag, which has been retrofitted with a 3 position safety, for dangerous game in Africa, which I backed up a Cape Buffalo with.

I've now realised this is a very deep rabbit hole to fall down, however very much one I love. I suspect in the near future another rifle may have to join me though, as currently I've got an open slot on my ticket and a 5-25 PM11 sat on my side doing nothing... 😂
