Just in case you wondered how our elected representatives eke out a living on their miserly £82,000 a year (plus expenses - like a lot of expenses)…..

Of course it wouldn’t happen in the land that once was Wee Hen’s ….

Meanwhile in today's news, an un-named official, completely without accountability, at the Home Office wasted 30 times more money buying an uninhabitable derelict prison they'd only just sold. As enraging as the petty corruption of MPs is, it is an insignificant red herring compared to the colossal sums civil servants waste every year without any penalty at all.

And another example of gratuitous waste..... The idiots in SNP have spent a reported £29,000,000 in drawing up a policy for a National Care Service (in Scotland). This was/is fiercely opposed by all the Local Councils, Health Boards, Royal Colleges and anyone with a brain, but the SNP charged on with it regardless. They employed a vast number of "advisors" and well paid Civil Servants to oversee it all and then - once Sturgeon and her successor Hamas Useless were away from any place of authority - they have quietly pulled the plug.....or "paused" it..... the paused bit is important because they don't need to sack anyone and they'll just find other bits of paper for them to shuffle around!
And don't get me started on blo*dy ferries, Independence or Air Miles Angus.........:banghead:

Don't forget that Biffa is also currently pursuing the SNP in court for £166 million in compensation, claiming that Scottish ministers were negligent when they put out the tender for the Bottle Return Scheme suggesting it was viable:

Timely reminder of the early warning of fiscal…. err…. ignorance up there following the doubling or was it tripling of a certain Palace’s costs. The gentleman charged with the “investigation’ included in the intro to his report something along the lines of “during the course of my investigations the halls of Holyrood echoed to the sound of “it was’nae me”. The early advent of the by now legendary “nae blame” culture - so nothing much changed there then - just carry on carrying on with the Carry On….

Just like all the SNP MSP’s denying they were ever associated with LGBT Youth Scotland, recipients of nearly £2 million a year of Scottish taxpayers money and a charity so dogged by controversy that even the BBC’s Children in Need appeal has recently felt the need to stop supporting it.

Hello, Ed Davey was in Wantage today, Bus Fare rises , And painting some Pottery , I can understand why on the Bus Fares, But the pottery painting sounds like Blue Peter !!!

And? MP’s salaries are quite low, very low compared to what can be earned in industry. The expenses help a lot though, much of what we have to pay for from our earning they can claim as an expense, suppose that helps counter the low salary.

Imo they are absolutely not low paid when you figure out the “benefits” 95% wouldn’t even make middle management in the real world, most of them are utter **** house from all sides of the house and those who were actually good at their jobs and made money get pilloried by the press.

Going well for labour! Reeves just outed for lying on her CV which previously described a period as working as an economist, ( she worked in a small complaints dept at Royal Bank of Scotland) and the rumours still being hidden about Kiers private life and his big secret which will surely come out soon 🤫

I can't help feeling that he's had a head injury recently. Every photo-op is like he has a mental age of 7.
