Another Interesting Sika Mount

I posted one of these a few years ago, but this is to my mind the improved version. The sliver of resin has been infused with bronze pigmentation to match the medal. Food for thought for how you mount your trophies. The young chap who did this for me (in return for hind stalking) isn’t commercial yet but if he becomes so I will happily recommend.

That's a nice way to display a head!

Not so sure about the position of the medal though
Could that perhaps be inlaid into the block and set in clear resin? It detracts from the beauty of the head as it is

Hmmm I did think the same. A slight afterthought. Will update with an improved version
