Anschutz 1416L DKL sear

The sear in my Anschutz 1416L DKL has broken. My gunsmith has been in contact with Viking Arms who are the UK distributor. Unfortunately, Anschutz will not supply the sear as an individual component, they will only supply a complete trigger unit for the princely sum of £250.

My gunsmith has suggested if I am prepared to wait he will likely get a suitable Anschutz model in for decommissioning at some point, from which he will be able to cannibalise the sear. A good idea but this could take 3 months or 3 years. He has said he could make one, but he would prefer not to for a rifle which still has OEM parts available.

Can anyone offer any suggestions which can get my shooting my .22 again in a timely fashion.

Thanks, I will give Fultons a shout. That's a good idea. I imagine they got all sorts of boxes of bits accumulated over many years in there.

They came up trumps for me when looking for a replacement Anschutz 1432 safety cocking lever/shroud. I snapped the original when attempting to reshape it but failed to use enough heat.
