Hi Folks,

About to upgrade my current Thermal, it's been 5 years! Is anyone using the above device at all, what are your thoughts on it if you are actually using one, regularly?

Cheers

I bought the FQ35 can’t tell much difference between that and the 50 but it’s a lot more compact feeling about it
Can’t find a fault with it
Batteries only last up to 4 hrs but they are cheap to buy spares
Replaced the axion FG35 as I bough it new and kept going faulty so got my money back
If you buy the falcon don’t think you will be disappointed but look at the 35 as well but make sure it the FQ 35

These are well up there. Battery life is around 3-4hrs. Works very well in all conditions. To be honest you can't go wrong

The Falcon FQ50 is a big lump of a thing whilst it's smaller brother the FQ35 is lighter and neater
A 12 micron sensor and 35mm lens give the same level of detail as a 17 micron sensor and 50mm lens so if your existing thermal is an XQ50 or XP50, then I'd say the Falcon FQ35, rather than the bigger, heavier and bulkier FQ50 would be the solution for a thermal without an LRF
The new Condor thermals with LRF look interesting and use the same sensor as the Falcon, so should have the same performance as the Falcon
A Condor CQ35L is only £100 more than the Falcon FQ35

Cheers
