Recently acquired a set in good condition and properly set up on a used rifle. Interested if anyone have found removing the scope too often resulted in wear and accuracy problems?

I have stripped and reblued a few sets now
the front sockets are adjustable for tightness (don't tighten them too much you will put much more stress through your scope tube)
the rears however are the areas where IMO a twist off design can demonstrate wear to the locking mechanism and over time on an unchanged scope could demonstrate a shift to the left in POI
but you would have to be taking it on and off an awful lot and being pretty rough/have abrasive in the joints
