Shines some light, incredibly rare for them to get inside a dogs mouth and these posts are generally just to generate clicks from concerned dog owners

There is a grain of truth to it, they have been found inside dogs mouths but it happens when the dog chases after the beetles and snaps them up where they can cause irritation by the chemical they secrete
