Looking for people’s experiences of the above car.

My wife is looking for a replacement for her diesel CRV and the Q4 etron (82kw battery) is currently her preferred choice to replace it.

She does 100km a day commuting and by my calculations the Etron will at least half her commuting costs.

The max distance we would need to drive would be 200km and this seems well in range.

Looking for opinions of folks with experience or experience of similar electrics.

I’ve still got a dirty diesel Land Rover and that won’t be going !

While the pence per mile cost can be a good saving, you need to consider depreciation differences to get an accurate picture of potential savings.
For company cars it’s a no brainier win. For private purchase the numbers are not so good.
Personally I think PHEV offer a better compromise overall for private ownership.

A 2022 is around 22k gbp at the moment, so I’m of the mind that there’s not a huge amount to loose if we run it for 4 years.

Are the batteries not 71 or 95 KW?

Got a q8 etron. Brilliant car sure the q4s no different but…. I personally would get a Tesla (also own 1 model y and it’s a beast) and whilst as a car it’s not as nice the range is better and the Tesla infrastructure and software is simply outstanding. They are dirt cheap to run if you have a home charger and Tesla charging cheaper than non Tesla if you have one.

Whatever you buy just check the battery health.

Ended up buying a Toyota BZ4X, 1 million km warranty on battery for 10 years as long as serviced at Toyota. So far so good!
