Available: Australian buffalo hunts

Hi all, has anyone had experience or know of any good outfitters in Australia for buffalo and boar hunts in the Northen territories
I did a hunt there some years ago, and will be returning again with one on of my doubles and my son. I hunted with Matt Graham sadly he died quite young of a heart attack. My final bag was 18 buffalo, 5 boar and a scrub bull.

We were truly in the back of beyond in east Arnhemland.

I want to hear more about that trip

I hunted with Matt Kelman of Australia wide safaris at Carmor Plains station in 2015. I Had a great week there. Two buffalo and four pigs. One afternoon I took a Northern Territories McNab. A boar, a barramundi and a brace of magpie geese. I don't think I will ever manage a Mc Nab in Scotland. I would have definitely recommended Matt and Carmor Plains to you. Sadly I read that Carmor Plains was sold a few years ago.

My Danish friend and his wife hunted in Australia this year. Sent me some amazing photos, they shot just about every species!
I'm sure there's a chap from Australia lurking on this forum somewhere......

I've hunted a few Buff, but didn't have to travel to the Northern Territory. We had a bloke bought some down here to Northern NSW. He was going to raise them for meat. Anyway, it didn't work for a number of reasons and they went feral and began knocking down fences and behaving badly. He asked us to come out and cull the troublemakers. I had a 9.3x62 at the time, and it worked well on the Buff, but I had shot a couple before with a 308. My Grandfather used to hunt them on horseback using a Winchester 44/40, mainly for the hides. The meat is really good, deep rich red and not too fatty. I think those Buff are all shot out now, but still mobs of 'em in the Territory.
