Sold: AYA No. 4 Boxlock Ejector 12 Bore Shotgun

I'll try but i'm restricted by the site to using small .jpeg files instead of the originals.

What particular aspects would you like me to focus on and I'll rephotograph more close up?

You can put a lot bigger files on than you think, if there’s a problem just put them on one at at with multiple threads.

The iPhone photos are too large file size to load directly, so I export to .jpeg files that are small. What alternative method would you suggest?

I use my iPhone photos and they load fine 🤷‍♂️ so I’m not sure maybe just don’t put too many on at once.

No, it's not the number of files - 5 max but the individual file sizes that is the issue

Can ADMIN HELP US PLEASE?!

I have now retired from shooting after a great shooting life spanning just over 40 years. I hope that this lovely traditional shotgun will be purchased by a ‘young shot’ who values a traditional hammerless light, quick to mount gorgeous side by side 12 bore, for this is the best package on offer for you!

Bought new from F A Anderson in East Grinstead, shortly after purchase, the factory chokes were opened out to Improved Cylinder (R) and 1/4 (L) in accordance with best published advice for general rough and driven game shooting. A visit to The West London Shooting School for gun fitting by the legendary Alan Rose., the prescription was used by a local Sussex stocker to lengthen the quite beautiful stock and Cast ON for me as a left hander. (I am 5ft 11 medium build.)

The gun comes in a canvas covered hard case with combination locks (new £150) complete with essential cleaning kit (£40) and a recently bought tan leather gun slip (new £80). From one old enthusiast to a keen newcomer, you will not be disappointed! It has been a lovely game gun lightly used on a variety of syndicated shoots across the UK. my cherished shotgun has been maintained and regularly serviced without attention to cost, latterly by Mr Eddie Jackson, Gunsmith of Ellesmere Port.

I live in Colwyn Bay so usual RFD to RFD transfer courier rules apply unless purchaser is local.

£375 the lot
Good Afternoon Krabryn,
I'm no "young Shot" but your shotgun would suit me me very well and if no others come forward, I'd like to buy it from you.

The No. 4 was my first "decent" gun back in the 80's! I've just bought a No.4 AYA (right handed) and I shoot ok (for me) with it but I'm convinced I'd do better with a proper Left hand model. The extra L.O.P. on your gun would benefit me!

Keep me in mind if no one else ("suitably younger") get's in touch?

To help uphold your original generous offer; I'd put up my own R/H No.4 AYA for a suitable novice or beginner.

Cheers
Hillside

Dear Hillside,

I apologise for putting this reply on your enquiry. I had responded to JGLD's response and was trying to accommodate his questions with answers through photos.

It is really tricky handling these enquiries!

Cheers, K
