Backpack with rifle holder

Anybody recommend a tidy backpack with rifle holder? Don’t want to the backpack too big though.
Cheers

I think this one is still up for sale:

I've looked at Vorn. Their advantage is the quick release system for the rifle. It really depends on what you want to do with the backpack.
For a longer journey the Vorn is not ideal as the gun is mounted on the side which makes the backpack unbalanced. For quick access to the gun however it is perfect.

I have gone with the Eberlestock Gunslinger II. It simply has the best gun carrying system to be found anywhere. No quick gun access though.

The other issue with the Vorn is that it weighs about 6Lbs. It's like carrying two rifles up the hill.

I run a ZAim sling which weighs nothing, keeps the rifle very secure and is very fast to deploy. When I take a pack it's a small light weight one.

I suggest the Vorn backpack was not properly adjusted. If used correctly the rifle will be in line with the spine, making it far better balanced than any sling can ever hope to be. The rifle and scope are both totally protected, reducing the cance of damage to the scope of a ND is you fall or catch a branch.

Thats why I am holding out in my wanted ad for the Fox version!

I’d like to see one before purchase.
Don’t want anything too big or bulky but also if it’s too small and can’t get anything in it’s pointless.

I have a brand new plain green Lynx here - and I'm not too far away. Drop me a PM if you want to come and look. I also have an Eberlestock Minime and a G3 for comparison. Drop me a PM if of interest.
