Baiting/ feeding?

Hi,
I’ve ambushed 3 foxes in the last 3 or 4 weeks on a local farm.
Farmer said there’s a guy comes along the road every night and puts food out on the road for foxes. He asked him to stop but the guy still comes nightly.
Tonight I had a ride up there (Only 5 min drive) to see if I could see him in action.
Sure enough, at dusk he strolled up the road and put food out and started calling “Come on and get your dinner, your dinner is here. He then left without seeing me watching him.
In the past I’ve been sat behind the Hawthorn hedge and heard him calling the foxes for dinner.
Must admit, it helps me as it brings foxes through a fields where i shoot.
Here is the food he put down tonight.
Ken.

You couldn't make it up could you. What in the hell goes through some people's minds 🤦
I'd be tempted to take my Mrs out to there and just wait. Take a flask, there you are dear I said I was taking you out for supper....

So I guess you could lift the bait, drag it to a legal shooting position and wait.
Amazing, just amazing.... unbelievable. The human race, God help us.

They walk among us.
Had a row, argument, encounter, full and frank discussion just after a very quick zero check with a fox-feeding “wummin” recently who just couldn’t wait to tell me she was a life-long member of the League Against Cruel Sports and hated the likes of me and what I stood for, even called me a “Hired Gun” (which actually pleased me - shades of Johnny the Kid and crossed-over bandoliers - younger members ask your granda).
In a very diplomatic way I tried to explain what I did and indeed my admiration for foxes; the purpose of targeted fox-control rather than just culling and that 260 ewes and their lambs were coming to the surrounding fields in a few weeks time. I even explained - gently, that she may be causing a problem for the lambs by her bringing the foxes into the area - nada.
Within the week and in two nights I shot 5 foxes (and missed one) in one single field below her house and two weeks later said ewes and assorted twins/triplets arrived. First night one went, second night one went, third night lamb found barely alive, badly chewed about the head and neck and subsequently died - very annoying losses, likely down to my one pulled shot but I wonder what would have happened if the other five were still in the area?
I have no doubt that when I tell her this and believe me I will tell her, she will have some fantasy diatribe ready as imagined by the LACS nutnuts to defend her actions and further attack mine. She will inevitably continue to feed “her” (probably solitary) fox and no doubt draw more to the area.
Some you will never win.

If the farmer has livestock or some kind that the foxes can do damage to maybe get him to take some pictures next time they have attacked or killed and show them to him so he understands what he may be causing

There's someone local to me who does the same, only he puts out the food in the tinfoil trays takeaways come in. Now you find them scattered all over the area. I had a word with him but surprise, surprise, it's me who was in the wrong.
However, the upside is, several foxes cross the field at the back of my place to get the food, ideal!

Two options.

1st get a photo of him doing this and report him for littering.
2nd keep shtoom and welcome the free target practice.

Something similar was happening in a local village.
Incomers were suddenly amazed to see foxes so put out food for them.
Unfortunately the local rat population found a surprising food supply.
The incomers complained to environmental health who came out and had a look.
Reply was stop putting food out as the rats were eating it before the foxes got to it 🤣
