Has anyone had dealings with Ballitech Ltd in Ireland? I bought a stock from them and had an email stating it was ready to be shipped on Monday and have since had no replies to emails. The number rings out. The Facebook page is being updated but when I made a comment asking to be contacted I was blocked.

I’m usually good with spotting a fraudulent website but think I may need to be disputing the transaction with my card company.

In Excellent Condition . The Sako 85 Varmint features a Monte Carlo cheek piece, small palm swell and fine lined checkering. The semi-beavertail forend is wide enough to be stable when shooting off sandbags or pedestals, but not as wide as a bench rest stock.

I've bought stuff from them in the past and not had a issue. So it's not a fradulent website or anything.
This was a number of years ago, but I'd hold off disputing just now. You could try a post on boards.ie to improve your chances of getting info from someone in the Irish Shooting community who's delt with them more recently. Link below

A good company, but slow if your having a problem PM me and I give them a ring, dont know them personally but I have met them and never heard anything negative. Also know dealers over here who deal with them and they would have a voice.
 
Just as a note, there was a fraudulent website created that was a copy of a legitimate retailer a couple of years ago. I’m hoping this hasn’t happened again.
 
I had a negative experience with them, the order was stuck on “pending “ after a few weeks and many attempts to contact them, I was told that it was an IT issue but they didn’t seem to be bothered about fixing it or worried about losing the order. I was let wondering if they are a list everything/ stock nothing operation.

Has your order arrived?

The stock I purchased showed one in stock and once my purchase was made it showed as out of stock. Plus the email from them confirming it was ready for dispatch Monday had my hopes up, I’m just hoping it’s a communication break down and not a cloned website.

In the end I cancelled it, all of the items were showing as in stock and I did speak to someone but they didn’t seem to know how to resolve it. The order was just for .22lr cleaning kit so nothing I couldn’t obtains
elsewhere. I suspect the team running the show aren’t too IT savvy, others seem to have been ok so hopefully things have improved since my experience.
 
Success I’ve had a response by email. No tracking information, but there is contact. I’m blocked from their Facebook page for asking them to reply to my enquiry on a post. Not the best experience I have to say.
 
Fyi, postage isn't that that sprightly and you're likely to get hit with custom charges / additional fees post brexit. Well that's certainly the case from UK to IRL at least.
 
Used them before and found them a1 to deal with actually used the a few times. But postage was slow but I'd still use them again

I’m expecting customs charges and asked for tracking so I could be on top of it. Looks like I’ll just have to wait patiently for the charges to come through.

Great to hear you have used them and would do again.

My initial fear the website had been cloned has been alleviated. I can’t wait to get the McMillan stock on my rifle now. Rare as hens teeth they are so I’m just happy to have found it. The initial fear was, was it too good to be true.
