Barrel thread adapter

Hello there
I am just wondering if anyone had any experience on using a barrel thread adapter.. I have a 5/8x24 thread however my mod with this thread is very heavy so I am wondering if I could use an adapter to allow me to use my m14 threaded moderator which is of the same cal to save buying yet another mod..

In theory it should work but it’s not ideal to add in more variables (the adaptor) to something like that, in my opinion. Not sure how much an adaptor would cost but to have complete peace of mind, if it were me, I’d just have your barrel rethreaded to M14. You can offset the cost of that by selling the heavy mod!
