Yep, agreed again. I think this current shower have proven the disparity between what they say at elections is quite different to reality. And reform would be just as bad (I personally suspect worse but that's based purely on my own bias). But even by that yardstick, nasty nigel is a degree more slimy than your average slug.

i'd be surprised to , the best we could hope is they leave it alone while they crack on with the real issues this country has

What would be good reason to own a pair of english SBS? do I need to start collecting photos of me 'double-gunning' with a loader? Or would good reason be the fact that one or the other spends most of its time broken?
Will it be accepted that you can had a new shotgun for high speed steel and an older one for low speed steel?
What about those of us with teenage children. The admin burden would be immense if every two years I had to swap 410 for 20b for 12b
What about joint access to cabinets. Am I only allowed access to the shotguns for which I have demonstrated good reason.

So, think of the number of shotguns that you think you'll need to cover your various shooting disciplines, then multiply that by the number of children and grandchildren that you have, not forgetting to include in-laws too, and that's how many you actually need and can justify
