Is it possible to fit a top safety to these actions?

If the action has a small cut out on the side for the safety slide - yes.

I built a 22-250 on a SV a few years ago but cant recall what trigger went in it.

I built this a few years ago, I coudnt recall if there was a slot for a safety or not - ive done some looking at my records today for you - you can see there is no inlet for safety..

Was interesting build too because of the false shoulder, hell of an accurate gun though after it came back from Gary Cane for stocking...the owner was well pleased

I have a Bat stainless left handed long repeater action and it has jewel trigger with normal jewel safety off to the upper/ side
