BDS SE Scotland Branch Meeting 7[SUP]th[/SUP] May – Firearms Licensing Update


Just a quick post to say the next Branch meeting takes place on Tuesday 7[SUP]th[/SUP] May. As usual it will be held in the Education Centre of Dalkeith Country Park starting at 7pm. (Enter the Park via the main gate off Dalkeith High Street, take the first left and the Centre is approx 100 yards on the right.)

This month Steve White from Lothian & Borders Police (or is it now Police Scotland) will be giving a short talk on the changes within the firearms licensing section with the amalgamation of current forces and any other firearms related issues .

Non-members are very welcome, however if you wish to attend please confirm your attendance via this post so we can ensure that the room can accomodate those that are attending.

Due to the number of people wishing to attending the meeting tomorrow night we have had to change the venue to one of the function rooms in the nearby County Hotel on the High Street in Dalkeith (http://www.countyhoteldalkeith.co.uk/index.php/locate_county_hotel). ….and maybe time for a drink in the bar afterwards!
