My mate had some bedding compound and we bedded my old 695, I loaded up some 155gr scenars and put 4 shots into 0.640 oai and let the 5th go and still shot into 0.986 oai at 300yds

Plastic Padding is not just the cheap acrylic stuff for bodging rusty cars.

I've used their marine epoxy filler, also their super steel epoxy weld, with success.

Both have 5 minute set times, so I chill them in the fridge and work in cool conditions, to extend setting to about 15 minutes which is plenty.

When sorted, warm everything up, e.g. airing cupboard, an hour later you can take things apart and carry on.

PS: keep them in the fridge and they will last years. I'm still using some gelcoat repair which is at least 5 years old.

As Sharpie said. Bloody good advice, that I had forgotten.

Thank you SD!
