Beer brewers - what water are you using?

I have been using Tesco Ashbeck as it has a good profile that makes it easy to adjust the water chemistdy to your beer style.

It's been rebranded now and I cant remember the name.

If you really want to go deep into it, you can start with distilled water and at your chemicals to it.

This is the equivalent of home loading for obscure calibres. I’m happy with Sussex tap water which equates to Hornady factory.

then you’re buggered.

Out of interest, why?
How I feel after a session mostly. It's somewhat intangible and anecdotal, but when I have been over to Bavaria for driven boar, there's always been quite a few nights of heavy drinking but despite this I have always awoken fresh the next morning, I think because I always drink plenty of water during and before head hits the pillow, but I also suspect that it is because of their purity laws. I've made beer following it and I've never had a thick head after, even though I haven't drunk it in the quantities I did in Bavaria. I have had less heavy sessions over here, making sure I drink water in between but still wake up with a dreadful hangover. It's anecdotal like I said, but I suspect it is something to do with the sulphites

I've used that in the past and had a very good beer from it. I believe the company that bottles it is Aqua Pura from Eden Valley in Cumbria, let me know if you stumble across a way to source it in bulk 👍

My beer doesn’t have sulphites in, usually drunk fairly fresh so not required.

I just get it in the 5l bottles for what I need.

I have a Guinness clone allgrain kit from The Malt Miller ready to be brewed.
