Beginner Kit List

6 pages and very little mention of a First aid kit and a Survival bag, Sh*t happens even on flat/lowland ground..
They're in there (posts 7, 26, 41, 42, 46 & 76), but I agree it's surprising that a basic 1st aid kit isn't on everybody's list.
 
Apart from the obvious, a must for me is latex gloves. Besides being cleaner, I hardly get any ticks on me since I've been using them.
 
One thing I don't think I've seen here can surely ruin a stalk, and it's free...

I was on sticks yesterday, phone had actually had the screen smashed earlier so it was completely dead. I'm on sticks, watching these deer cross a clearing around 200m away. It's tense.

Haven’t seen it mentioned here, but you’ve had a lot of answers so it may well have been raised…

Have you thought about how you’ll transport carcasses and keep them (and your vehicle) clean while doing so?

Look at polyethylene trays/baths - they are strong, flexible and easy to wash.
