Evening all,
I am thinking of buying a second hand 694 sporting. I have actually put a deposit down on one that has done very little work. It is for clay shooting at club level and the odd comp. I had a go with it on Saturday and liked it's handling, love how it looks and feels. I did feel it was a bit sharp with recoil (24grm fibres), but I had just shot 200 clays (100 Fri/100Sat) with my Beretta Ultralight!
My question to those that can help is this;
Have you or anyone you know had or have a 694, and have had any issues at all? From finish, metalwork or reliability?
There seems to be a few issues online particularly in relation to ejecting used cartridges and also cracks in the woodwork.
