Get a hmr instead unless you already have one of course.....in which case just use the hmr.....no competition in my opinion

Fixed that for you
like comparing .243 to .30-06!

what do you want the .22 for?
semi? Bolt?
subsonic? HV?
short barrel? Long barrel?

lots to choose from
I have two Sako bolt action, one v short one long
also a browning semi
prefer the bolt personally

Browning t bolt is worth a look, Iv got one in .17hmr and can't fault it, it replaced my .22 and haven't looked back since

I use a Mauser 101 bolt action with a SAK moderator and CCI HP Segmenting Subsonic - it is super quiet, lightweight and accurate.

Browning 22BL.jpgBrowning 22LR. 15 rounds, light, very fast and accurate. 30 degree lever throw makes it nearly as fast as a semi-auto. I have a 6x Zeiss on mine with Zeiss QD mounts so the iron sights can be used as back-up or teaching. I've put a rubber stock pad on mine because the original was plastic and slippery. I use a slip on "barrel weight" (have to call it that here).
Beautiful rifle.
