Hi everyone,

I've a set of 12x50 vortex binos. I'm away to order/get a set of 10x42 vortex RF binos. I'm currently using the vortex glass pack that comes standard with them on the 12x50s and was wondering if there's anything more comfortable or keeps them closer to the chest? Plan is to keep the 12x50 binos in the truck (so I'm not worried about changing its harness) and use the 10x42 RF when actually stalking/out. What's everyone using? What's the best harness for the vortex fury AB RF? Is there any other accessories you would recommend for them?

Thanks in advance, all help appreciated!

Can't recall who but someone on here stocks them

I read a lot of online reviews, and bought the Kuiu Pro XL harness for my Swarovski EL Range 8 x 42.

I had to order from the States, but it was trouble-free and they answered promptly the questions l had to ask re sizing, etc.

Recommended.

The Harkilla Deer Stalker binocular harness is the one I'm currently using, pretty happy with it.

Pros:
- Plenty room and cushioning in main compartment
- One side pocket can be mounted on strap underneath
- Side pockets are elasticated meaning they can carry larger items (I have a thermal in one and range finder in the other)
- Straps on side mount bipod easily (I'm using Spartan bipod)
- Material is completely silent (uses magnets for opening and closing)

Cons:
- Buttons for side pockets broke after a few uses. Had to buy replacement buttons off Amazon for £5

Had to get some for my Habroks as Marsupial don’t do one tall enough. 😭

The Kuiu is a big disappointment compared to a Marsupial.

Before anyone asks why - number of reasons.

1. Lid constantly rides up - Marsupial never moves.
2. Tethers are twin lines when they should be single
3. Clips are way smaller, making it a faff in the dark
4. Ok mines the XL, but they are not exactly streamline.
5. Some bright spark decided to put a sponge on the bottom of them, meaning you can rarely put them down in the UK.

Anyway - would look at Marsupial 😂

I use a Rick Young bino harness that I got from Croots Country store for about £20.
Rang up, ordered and arrived the next day. Works perfectly.

“The outer facing fabric is built from a TORAY three-layer laminated fabric that's durable, waterproof and quiet, the same material used for Kutana Storm Shell rain gear.

Included are three lightweight stackable foam shims that insert into the bottom of the case to position your optics to the perfect height.”

yes and?

The outer base still has a hook and loop sponge.

Not sure what shipping is like to UK but have a look at TwinNeedle NZ, everyone here uses them and you can customise to your liking with their pouches.

Have a look at the Vortex Glasspak PRO. I haven't seen one on the flesh, but it looks to have borrowed some of the better features from a lot of the competitors, and costs a bit less.

Thanks all, I'm going to do a bit further research on the marsupial and the Kuiu harness you guys have recommended.
