Morning Everyone

I’ve just bought a Nightmaster NM800 on here (very pleased with it).

Can any of you tell me what replacement re-chargeable batteries you use?

Is it best to stick with the Nightmaster ones?

thanks in advance.

Genuine Panasonic, Samsung, Sony, LG
Expect to pay £6-£7 for a genuine 3500mah battery from Ecolux shop
At £11.95, the Nightmaster battery is a rip off.

Just dismantle an old laptop battery
Fine if you know what you're doing and know how to test the batteries to find out which are worth keeping, and which need to be disposed of
With absolutely no disrespect to the OP, he doesn't give the impression he too clued up on electrics

Cheers

Panasonic NCR18650F

lithium 18650 cells fall on a spectrum between “power cells” which have lower capacity but can deliver high current without damage and “Energy cells” which have high mAh ratings but don’t live that long if you pull too much current.

all the 3500mAh cells are energy cells and are going to degrade quickly pulling whole numbers of amps out of them so they will quickly be less than the 3500 written on the side.

NCR18650F is only rated at 2900mAh but will hold up for hundreds of cycles.

and yes, I’m a nerd and I used to run a battery company.

I always used 'PluzPower 3400mah button top protected cells.
Work very well, and have lasted a good amount of time, still going strong.

There is a recent post which shows pretty clearly which ones to buy or more importantly to avoid!

Ecolux trade under 3 websites, the one above and ecoluxbatteries.co.uk and ampsplus.co.uk- 10% discount code is AMPS+5. Worth looking at for genuine chargers too.... loads of fakes out there.
posted this on a reasonably recent thread.....
