Blaser R8 pro success (forend has had a rod inserted and filled with Devcon) done professionally by Micheal Rainback to stiffen up the forend, also has Tier one picatinny mount to forend for bipod/sling etc. In good condition.
243 semi weight barrel shortened to 20” 4-500 round count still shoots well
DPT muzzle forward mod threaded 17x1
6.5x55 standard weight barrel 15-1 spigot
Dpt over barrel mod round count 300

Blaser mount with tier one rings in 30mm

Will not split unless rifle go’s with one barrel and buyer does not wish to have the mount etc.

Looking to sell all together ideally if anyone’s interested PM me

Would maybe consider swap part ex against a semi custom more tactical rifle.

So were you having trouble with forend flex, is that why you had it stiffened? Strange choice of compound, i thought that devcon wouldn’t adhere properly to plastic stocks.

I wouldn’t say trouble.. but it had more flex than I wanted.. I might not be devcon can’t remember what Mike said. Something similar but it works no wobbly forend here

I know lots of people that have stiffened up their synthetic forends with devcon……..works better than viagra! On a serious note it’s works really well. Wouldn’t hurt doing doing that to a blaser stock as you do get a tiny bit of flex and if you want to really lean into the bipod it will make a difference.

Rifle and 243 barrel now sold pending collection, 6.5x55 barrel still for sale with DPT over barrel mod in excellent condition and with one stainless baffle, £600
