Hi
Was not sure where to post this so picked gunsmithing and hoping I could get help. Helping a family out who is based in India. He got himself a Blaser R8 with 2 barrels. However the safety catch is stuck on the firing position and refuses to come back to the safe position. Anyone encountered this issue. If so what could be done.
Appreciate your help.

Edit - Guys sorry. Just came to know the exact problem from a gunsmith in India. The safety catch comes back to the safety position if you remover the magazine. Guess this is a bolt problem now. Put in a different bolt and it works fine.

Are you sure he's using it correctly, when I got my sauer 404 it took me a bit to realise you need to push up on it before pressing the button to decock it. It's also quite stiff so doesn't feel natural.

Apology - have just edited the post. Looks like a bolt issue.

It's a cocking mechanism. When its in the most forward position it is ready to shoot. To uncock it, you have to push it forward a tiny amount more, then let it come back. So you don't have to drop the magazine to uncock it
