Hi Guys,

The Blaser scope rings are nearly ¾ cover the scope body and to get these rings over the scope without scratching the body of the scope has anyone got a method the used to spread the rings

For instillation - Please see attached picture of blaser rings
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Glendine.

use a couple of allen keys, just inserted into the holes from the top. Press them together and the ring will open up.

Try it a couple of times first, to make sure the key doesn't go too far through, and scratch the scope
Many thanks for your reply, I am surprised there is no YouTube video on this.

Two Allen keys in each opposing screw holes use like chop sticks and spread ,line up on lower rings place over scope and release slowly

Scavenge an old 1-2 thou feeler gauge blade then wrap it over the top of the scope tube & slide the mount on down over that which will keep the sharp edges off the scopes finish.
