APHA: Following the id of further bluetongue BTV-3 cases, the two Restricted Zones (RZs) have been merged & extended. The new RZ also covers all of Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Greater London, Surrey & West Sussex. Keepers of cattle, sheep, camelids & other ruminants must remain vigilant, report any suspicion of bluetongue immediately & follow the restrictions that apply. Animals must only be moved where it's absolutely necessary. More info on restrictions & licences is available: Bluetongue movement licences and designated slaughterhouses.
Check the interactive map: ArcGIS Web Application & GOV.UK: Bluetongue: news, information and guidance for livestock keepers for more info.
Info about BTV-3 vaccinations is available on GOV.UK: Bluetongue serotype 3 (BTV-3) vaccination
