Wanted: Books on red deer

I want to learn more about red deer, does anyone have any good books they'd part with ? Or suggestions?

I found "The Wild Red Deer of Scotland", by Allan Gordon Cameron, to be a fascinating read, but it wouldn't be to everyone's taste.
Published in the early 1920s, and largely concerned with the island of Jura.
Subtitled "Notes from an Island Forest on Deer, Deer Stalking, and Deer Forests in the Scottish Highlands".

Anything by G Kenneth Whitehead

D.B. Banwell not just NZ but authoritative histories of Euro Reds.
Some surprises in them too like the Asian Wapiti (Maral) blood in the German reds,then of course the Pom reds.
I have most of his works and also Whiteheads.
