Boot liner

Has anyone used a big boot liner in a car with the rear seats down? I debated buying a cheap 4x4 then thought it would be cheaper still to buy a really good liner (about the same as road tax) and pay for a full valet (less than insurance) if it got really bad. XC40. Hatchbag is coming up top of my list. Bootbuddy looks the best, but won't be as easy to swap to normal car mode. Seen comments here that Rhino not as good as expected. And yes I could just cut a tarp but my cutting skills (unless flesh) are not great!

I've had Hatchbag in my last few cars, no issues with them at all and certainly saved my boot from several mishaps from both blood, water, oil and mud. Haven't got one in latest car, but intend to.

I have always used a boot liner, best ones are OEM but costly, I also have a big IKEA storage tub, it’s good for deer and cheap as chips, will find a photo. Gives you the just of it, just get one fits your dimensions and leave in the garage when you dont require, (keep my boots, and stalking bag I it).

Ta, I have a plaster's bath, this is just for extra protection

I use a boot buddy in our old focus estate, carries dogs family stuff and anything else I might need it to and after you can wipe it clean no bother, had them.in the last 3 cars to be honest

I went with hatch bag and I'm impressed with the fit and the material
Have been using Hatchbags in cars & 4x4s since the 1990s, they do what they say on the tin.

Only thing I would advise is to make sure that you have well & truly cleaned the plastic trim where you're go in to stick the Velcro. Use a product that will remove ANY silicon residue & then use the tar remover that Hatchbag recommend as well. Velcro not sticking to a panel is the one & only downside of Hatchbags.

This - the high sided one. Bought it for my Dacia Duster 4x4. Goes in with the seats flat. ! man liftable. Mine is on the 3rd Duster
