Boots for beating

If you get stuck into the brambles when beating most if not all leather boots will eventually get ruined whatever you do with them. I’d go surplus or get wellingtons. There’s no way I’d wreck boots costing often upwards of £250 on beating!

Or …… get a puppy for £1000, feed it, train it, medicate it tear your hair out for years and then be able to go round because it’s cheaper on boots
