Bored of the 223 looking for something new.

I had mine for roughly the same time, I shot a vixen and 4 cubs one after the other, those 5 shots were the start of the barrel’s demise. I know it was going to happen, but from then on in that was that. Mind I did fire a hell of a lot of shots. Would I have another, yes. But I prefer to only shot problem foxes now and work dogs on them. In my late teens early twenties, I tried my best to put foxes on the species red list

Tikkas have great actions, why not buy a hnt26 carbon chassis for it? See if you like it better then? Can always rebarrel it at some point

Have the itch for another caliber, Have the ok off my local super to keep the 223 and get another foxing rifle, so am 100% getting a new one, but PSE are Ireland based so if was looking for carbon stock would rather give them the money than an American company. Will look into that. ty
