Wanted: Browning 325 stock extension and refinish

Looking for a stock for a browning 325. A 3, 4 or 525 will fit. Or a miroku mk38.
Just a plain stock would be fine but needs to be full length to make a stock 14 3/4.

I bought the gun with a short stock, so I've bought a lump of walnut and put a bit on, but I’m not happy with the colour. I might just have another go with the spray gun and some stain.
Remove stock. And forend. Strip BOTH of any lacquer, varnish or finish. Use Rustin's wood stain as it is spirit based and won't raise grain. Using a stain that will darken the wood enough that both then match. Then refinish. In this case three coats per side of Rustoleum spray semi-matt varnish. B & Q or Homebase sell it. Left to dry between each coat. Here's one I did earlier, as they say, my AYA .410" that is now at auction. The extension piece was shaped and fitted by a stocker in the trade. But left unfinished from the raw wood. So all the colour and finish you see was done by me as described.

Well...... I honestly forgot about using spirit based wood dye. We use gallons of water based stain at work but I just couldn't get it right with that.
I bought some birchwood Casey tru oil, some hate this stuff but it dries well and goes on dead easy, maybe more varnishy than oil but it works really well.
The results are perfectly acceptable. PXL_20251214_192656831.webpPXL_20251214_192635568.webpPXL_20251214_192606432.webp
