My friend shot a roebuck yesterday, he says it looked healthy weighed 15kg in the larder, no sign of disease or injury but it was still in velvet. Ideas?

You can say that again Dave I have never been on so much ground and seen so few Deer. I have never ever blanked three trips in a row before either and you have blanked more than me. Hope the winter months make up for the blanks.
