Hi all,
A little off topic and in the wrong thread (can't post in 'wanted' yet as not done 30 posts yet sorry..), I'm looking for a large bulk of antlers only looking for the larger species. All shapes, colours and sizes welcome, unless they're only a few inches long... Not bothered if they're from a venison farm and are cut off at the bur or if they're cast and found out on the hills. However, would prefer them not to be chewed to a nub. Will pay an agreed price per lb.won't be paying more if they're a pair unless they're a truly incredible set at a good price. A different price for each species I'll give you an idea on price if you show an interest. Will be looking to be local, so hopefully around Sheffield and in the Peak district, willing to travel to Manchester. If you're just outside this area I'll travel around. The antlers will be used for furniture and light fittings, currently dripped my own resources dry until open season and March...Currently doing my Alevels I won't be able to go and pick any up until a week on friday at the earliest as exams don't finish until then. Being a student I don't have bucket loads to spend however I'm sure we can come to an agreement.
If you know of anyone who has a large pile of antlers (cast, cut off or on the skull) please forward them my number, 07729462937.
If you don't personally have a large pile to sell but know of a venison farm, game keeper or deer park (other than Chatsworth) please let me know as am looking for new long term suppliers.
