Calling all knife buffs

Evening everyone, I’m hoping that somebody could give me a basic valuation of a knife I was given many years ago by a stalking client (American) and as it was in my opinion no good for gralloching it was put away in a box under the bench in the garage.

I do recall that he said that it was worth a bit but it looked to me like a cheap mass made knife that you see for sale in Spanish tat shops... Fast forward 10/15 years and today I re-discovered it in a box while putting up shelves in the garage.

A quick google search watch and I find that it was made in the second quarter of 1973, I know that anything is worth as much as anyone is willing to pay. However online prices are listed anything from £200 to £600. I accept that the very top prices are for pristine boxed examples.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards Bob.

Puma knives are great quality blades and tas your search has found can be worth good money, I’ll let someone with more knowledge than me answer your question, but the one I have is a cracking knife which holds a fantastic edge.

Wow, nice find. That's a knife that I've always liked the look of since being a teenager in the seventies. Have seen them more recently at the shooting shows for sale second hand and your pricing is the right ballpark. I'd be inclined to take it along to a few traders at the shows or game fairs to see what they'd offer and then add a percentage and use that as your minimum for selling privately. An alternative would be to get some photos done and enquire on some of the British/UK forums.
