In areas with a lot of forestry activity, I’ve noticed that they’re not so bothered by vehicles, especially if the vehicles use the same roads at roughly the same times as the forestry people.

I was more referring to areas where there are few vehicles other than occasional quad or farm type - I’ve noticed that reds in particular will associate the sound of a quad or a particular vehicle with bad things happening to their mates
