Aspen 4 for final spin could be extra urgent then.

Or drain it all out of the carburettor at the end of season. I sense that would be less popular though...

I was lead to believe super unleaded was 5% and the normal junk was 10% ethanol.

End of season I often run my chainsaws etc out of fuel and leave them dry.

We have a klf220, I had all manner of problems with e10 fuel float bowl full of gum after 4 weeks stood up (it’s for the odd deer extraction). When we needed it it wouldn’t bloody run. Twice it gummed up a spotless carb. This season I’ve bought aspen 4 stroke fuel, expensive but as we won’t use more than ten litres a deer season it’s going to be worth it. Fuel stabiliser made no difference!

My Honda 5hp outboard runs ok on fresh e10 but not well on stuff that’s been standing a couple of weeks. The carb doesn’t get clogged though, not sure why.

When I was looking into it, certain super unleaded was 5%, but that was ten years ago. Shell V-Power used to be 5%, but the rumour is it's 10% now, for example. And then you have 'UK laws' insisting on it always saying '5%' with is really measuring 5%... but also if it is 0%!

And as someone pointed out... it's just a matter of time before we get Canada's levels of 20+% ethanol, if we aren't there already on some budget supermarket brands....
